1200 years ago, Ogoto Onsen is a site for hot springs,
established by the Buddhist monk Saicho,
who founded the Enryaku-ji Temple on Mt. Hiei.
Bankara no Yu
- At the center of our public bath, with a wood stage like an island floating on the water is the Bankara no Yu. The stage is designed for our guests to rest their head on and stretch out their limbs for the utmost relaxation.
Hidamari no Yu
- Energize your body by enjoying the gentle wind under the sun- the open hot spring guarantees you a fusion with nature.

trees.
Indulge in the sensorial pleasures alone to rejuvenate your body, as well as memories.

We do not accept use of the private bath for day trip bathing. Only the large public baths are available.
